Happy Birthday Cards for Creative Expressions

Hello Crafty Folks! Welcome back to my Blog.
Sorry that it's taken me sometime to post again, but we are in the middle of preparations for another big family move across this great Country.  Any extra crafty time is precious and limited right now but I somehow manage to find the time for it as its what's keeping me from going totally MAD.  heheh

This is my Creative Expressions DT project for this week and I'm featuring the Perspectives HAPPY craft die set by Sue Wilson.
Here's another angle, in different lighting...

Simple, yet so FUN!  Im loving this set for its versatility in using the word dies wherever you want them on your projects! Love how the negative cuts show so beautifully on any pretty papers. Ive used a heavy textured pattern here. The Dies layer up so beautifully with the framing that comes with this set. The word itself is multi-layered for dimension.

Now here is LAST Week's CEDT make that I had posted onto our CE/SW FANS Facebook Page, found HERE,  but didn't getaround to posting onto my Blog. This card actually urned out to look so funky!  I was being creative and only used all of the Dies out of this one CE Perspectives set (Australian Corner, Border and Tag). These were used in different ways to create the different bottom border, cut the corners to make extra parts on top edge, and used the tags to create the fun flower and its leaves.
And here is the same card again, but from a different angle and lighting to show the sparkle better!
There was something about the faint pinks contrasting on this that bugged me, so I took to my Krylon, Glitter Blast Golden Glow Spray bottle and sprayed this magical glitter gold all over the card, but covering the center sentiment panel to protect it from disappearing completely. Ha!
Now it sparkles to the moon and back and has loads of texture. There is still something about the all white center that bugged me, but enough was enough and I finally left this alone.  heheh.  What do you think?

Ive created a frame with the border, a Flower with the tag and some leaves with the corner dies from the Australian Collection CBT set. These are all layered for depth. (the Noble Die Collections inner rectangles dies were used for the center frame from the following 3; Classic Adorned Design, Lavish Accented Design and Ornate Pierced Design).

The Center sentiment cut was adhered to dbl-sided sticky sheets by CE then sprinkled with Glitter for added sparkle and lined the center framing with rhinestones to draw the eye to the sentiment.
